Have you ever thought about learning to make your own jewelry? Now is the perfect chance! Never made jewelry before? All skills are welcome!! In this class you will receive instruction from a local goldsmith with over 20 years experience in the jewelry industry. You will receive step by step instruction on how to create your very own piece of jewelry!
In the process we will discuss the different properties of metal. As well as how to care for your new sterling silver piece of jewelry. Class instruction will include beginner silversmithing skills featuring rotating projects.

Tasha from Rhythm Jewelry has over 20 years of experience in the jewelry industry, and over 12 years of experience as a bench goldsmith. She has multiple certificates in Goldsmithing, stone setting, jewelry design and jewelry CAD. She has spent a significant amount of time training/mentoring under several goldsmith's and current mentors and teaches goldsmith classes. We're so excited to have Tasha teach and mentor at Saskatoon Makerspace!

The fine print.
We do not offer full refunds for classes. Class tickets can be transferred to another date as long as you contact us at least 4 days in advance so we have time to sell your ticket to someone else. We will only transfer your ticket to the next class one time. With less than 4 days notice, we can refund 50% of the ticket price.
Our classes are primarily designed for adults, however we do allow youth ages 14+ to come to a class with a parent/guardian. Anyone 16+ is allowed to go to a class on their own but must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian.
*Soap making being the exception, it is an 18+ class.
