At Saskatoon Makerspace, inclusivity and accessibility are at the heart of our mission.

We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, and interests can thrive. Our 10,000+ square foot facility is designed to be accessible to everyone, featuring barrier-free access, open work space, and clear signage to ensure that all members can navigate and utilize our space effectively.

To promote inclusivity, we offer a diverse range of programs and workshops that cater to different skill levels and interests. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you will find opportunities to learn and create in a supportive community.

Our instructors are trained to accommodate various learning styles and needs, ensuring that everyone can participate fully in our activities.

We believe that financial barriers should not prevent anyone from accessing our resources. Therefore, we offer different membership and volunteer-for-membership options to make our programs affordable for all. Additionally, we partner with local organizations to reach underserved communities and provide outreach programs that bring the benefits of making and creating to a wider audience.

Our commitment to inclusivity extends to our governance and decision-making processes. We actively seek input from our members and the broader community to ensure that our policies and practices reflect the diverse needs of those we serve.

By fostering a culture of inclusivity and accessibility, Saskatoon Makerspace aims to empower individuals from all walks of life to explore their creativity, develop new skills, and connect with a vibrant and supportive community.

We are dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for everyone to experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from making and learning together.
