Saskatoon Makerspace is a Non-Profit 10,000+ square foot facility located in Riversdale. High quality tools and educational opportunities provided by professionals create an atmosphere where any idea can be made. At Makerspace you will find a growing community that loves to be a part of a creative environment, and is open to new possibilities. Education is at the core of our values, and we want to challenge the way consumerism is viewed.   • Repair Cafe: Now every saturday

    Mend Repair CafΓ© is part of the β€œMend: Reduce, Reuse, Repair” initiativeβ€”a community-driven project dedicated to sustainability, education, and empowerment. Hosted every Saturday of the month from 1–4 PM, these free events offer a collaborative, hands-on environment where our volunteers can help fix everyday items and keep them out of the landfill.

Volunteer positions vary from cleaning and organizing, to operations assistance. Positions require an hour of work per week, in exchange for a maker membership - providing 6am to 2am access to the space and any tools you have taken the relevant class for.
