BRIAN STOREY

Brian is the CEO of SCYAP. Brian was born in Melfort, Sk. to a family of artists and entrepreneurs, which resulted in his interest in taking both paths. Thru-hiking, in recent years, has become a passion of his, and he’s spent quality time on various trails (with his house and provisions on his back) walking through some of the most beautiful and tranquil wilderness’ on the continent. Brian and his wife Judy have five children, and nine grandchildren, all of which have decided to set up camp right here in beautiful Saskatoon. They lived for nine years on an eighty acre slice of the Nesbitt Forest (by the forks of the Shell and Sturgeon Rivers) Northwest of Prince Albert, where they milked goats, raised chickens and grew their own food. A decade of adventure has helped him and his family grow very close. His business life has been much the same, a series of diverse adventures. He’s learned that (as much as possible) work must be converted to play before proceeding. He enjoys his involvement with Makerspace. The opportunity to have some input into this selfless and quality of life venture is a privilege that he doesn’t take lightly.
